Fencing systems offering a high level of security are frequently specified by the Home Office, MOD and facilities managers/architects for sites demanding a high delay factor to slow down would-be intruders.
These fencing systems are chosen because of their resistance to cutting tools and their excellent through visibility allowing them to be used in conjunction with CCTV/surveillance systems. As such, these systems are ideal for complete perimeter protection for prisons, CNI sites, military installations, railways, utilities and other similar establishments.

Steel fencing for security
Steel provides a high level of protection at a reasonable cost. Steel can provide a rigid fencing system which is available in a galvanized or polyester coated finish. Palisade systems can range from low to high security depending on the steel thicknesses and profiles and the fixing systems specified.
It is supplied in 2.75m wide standard panels for easy assembly on site, with each panel being made up of 17 vertical pales manufactured in D or W profile with a choice of tops (single pointed, triple pointed, rounded top). It is available in a range of heights from 0.9m up to 4m, depending on the level of security required. The round top alternatives are recommended for use where a fence height of 1.8m or less is required - this is due to the obvious safety issues.
Pedestrian and vehicle gates can be supplied to match steel fencing.

Chained fencing and welded mesh
Chained fencing and welded mesh rolls are well proven, popular, versatile and easy to erect fence systems. Chained fencing can be erected on timber, steel or concrete posts, with heights varying from 900mm to 3.6m.
It is available in galvanised and coated finishes and there are a number of different wire thicknesses according to the specific need/application of the fence.
Extra safe fencing
Chained fencing and Weld Mesh fences are suitable for a wide variety of fencing applications from simple boundary demarcation as detailed in BS1722 - 1 through to a permanent fencing as detailed in BS1722 - 10.
They offer a smart and attractive appearance and provide a high degree of visibility. Gates are available in both single and double leaf configuration to meet all requirements.
Options are also available that are manufactured from high-tensile steel wire with over twice the strength of traditional chain link fencing. This type of system has a unique green coating giving the fence a longer lifespan.
