Rigid Mesh Fencing
Rigid mesh fencing panels are the most versatile of fence systems as they cater for all security categories. They range from low height open mesh panels to secure anti-cut, anti-climb systems.
All offering the benefits of:
- high through visibility
- resistance to vandalism and climbing
- aesthetic appeal
- minimal impact on surrounding area
- ideal for use where CCTV/surveillance systems are in place/planned and in situations where supervision is required.
- long life
- low maintenance
Twin wire 200x50
This panel incorporates twin horizontal wires - one positioned on either side of the verticals - to give increased rigidity, and resistance to cut through and vandalism. The panels are manufactured from heavy welded mesh and have vertical barbs of 30mm on the top (panels are reversible so that barbs can be either at the top or at the bottom). Standard heights available: 1.0m/1.2m/1.8m/2.0m/2.4m
358 flat/profiled panel
An ideal fencing solution where high levels of security (up to a height of 6 metres) are required, combined with a minimal visual impact on the surrounding area. The design of the panel using small mesh aperture – designed to be toe and finger proof - means that this system provides an anticlimb and anticut fence (almost impossible to cut wires using conventional bolt or wire cutters) with high resistance to vandalism. At the same time, it allows excellent through visibility when the fence is viewed head-on or even at an angle – especially important if the fence is intended for use with any form of access control/surveillance system.
For an even greater level of security, extra length panels can be buried below ground to prevent digging underneath the fence line.
Panels can be either flat or profiled – the profiled option incorporates a pressed ‘V-beam’. Both options have a long life and low maintenance requirements.
Unequal aperture profile panel
This is an ideal solution in situations that demand a fence to be both aesthetically pleasing and highly secure. It’s innovative design allows for excellent through visibility yet gives resistance to cut through and also makes it very difficult to climb. The pressed ‘V’ beams incorporated into the design of the panels give increased strength and rigidity.
Standard heights available: 0.9m/1.2m/1.8m/2.0m/2.4m
Profiled panel 200x50
Ideal for use in situations requiring low to medium levels of security. It provides an attractive and cost effective solution for areas where long runs of fencing may be required. The panels have a high level of rigidity and come in a wide variety of colours.
Standard colours are Green RAL6005 and Black RAL9005
Standard heights available: 1.7m; 2.0m and 2.4m
Roll top
A welded mesh panel system that is particularly suitable in situations where safety is a consideration. The rolled top and bottom edge means that there are no raw or sharp edges making it widely used in schools, sports grounds, parks and playgrounds. This system allows excellent visibility making it ideal where supervision is required.
Standard colours are Green RAL6005 and Black RAL9005.
Standard heights available: 0.9m; 1.2m; 1.5m; 1.8m; 2.4m
Sports court
Vandalism and criminal damage to public sports areas have given rise to a need for improved sports fencing solutions. Any sports court fencing system should offer both protection for the area – giving a high level of boundary and perimeter security – whilst meeting the specific needs for any given sport and its players.
Customised solutions are available and options include:
- Varimesh/Multimesh – these systems incorporate rebound panels which are used for the lower 1.2m of the fence. Using additional horizontal wires gives increased strength at the lower levels, where the fencing is likely to need to take increased impact from any sporting activities taking place, as well as providing uniform bounce of any rebounding balls. This system can be tailored to specific requirements – for example to incorporate reinforced and recessed goal areas and increased height across goal ends/areas. Additional cross rails are available to give lateral reinforcement for maximum resistance to heavy impact. The higher level panels are conventional mesh panels and fence heights can be varied dependant on specific needs of the end user.
- Welded mesh roll fencing can provide a cost effective general purpose sports perimeter.
- Chain link fencing – both high tensile and pvc coated - can be installed where a court is used for light game play, for example badminton or tennis.
- Welded Mesh panels can provide a heavy duty ball court solution so would be more appropriate for sports such as football and rugby. As well as providing good vandal resistance this system provides a good ball rebound.
- Timber boarding added to welded mesh provides enhanced durability for low level ball play.
- Rebound Fencing has become a popular choice over traditional wooden rebound board systems due to the fact that they eliminate easy hiding places for trespassers, they are much harder to vandalise and can provide longevity.
- Sports fencing can incorporate special rubber inserts so that noise is reduced from ball impacts; a feature that can be extremely useful in residential areas.
- Benefits of the sports court fencing systems include:
- Strength and rigidity.
- Resistance to vandalism and graffiti artists.
- Good through visibility all around the court.
- Virtually maintenance free and longevity.
- Ability to retain it's shape and will not sag.
- Adaptability – systems can be tailored to suit particular requirements of the user, the sport concerned etc.
