Railings

Manufactured in tube or solid bar with a galvanised or polyester coated finish, railings offer low to medium security. A number of styles are available, including bow top and vertical bar, giving the visual appeal of traditional railings.

Recreational areas

Fencing should never present a safety hazard. RoSPA use the control recommendations in EN 1176, the play equipment standard, when assessing fences. Following RoSPA guidelines, fences should be constructed and erected in accordance with BS1722 part 9, with a minimum height of 1.0m recommended.

Bow top railings

These can be designed and manufactured to meet the safety regulations required for play areas, residential areas and schools, which is what makes them RoSPA approved. The shape of the arched top and the spacing of the vertical tubing against the horizontal rail are set specifically to avoid head and limb traps.

Vertical bar railings

Available as both square and round vertical tube. Square verticals are set at an angle to read as diamonds, for maximum strength and appearance. Tops can be flat or angle cut, and round verticals can be supplied with the same options.
